What is our philosophy? We believe in practicing what we preach. At Ranablue Earth we intend to remain a very small organization with low overhead so we can put the funds we are given to best use. As a result we have no permanent facilities, we work from home where put our daily commitment to re-use and reduce into action.
Our financial strategy rests on the desire to spend as little as possible on administrative overhead so we can fund and support as many projects as we can that fit into our program areas. We will never add staff for the sake of having staff and plan to employ most people on a contract basis only as needed to support programs.
We believe our model works best because it steps away from the political, scientific and judgmental arguments that are slowing the process for re-use and reduction. We want to keep focus on the principle that "every little bit helps." We want to work with business and industry (not against it) and make sure that future generations are as committed to protecting the planet as we are.
Our goal is to eventually become irrelevant. We want to work ourselves out of a job by creating the will and actions so that businesses and individuals will make changes to improve the earth.
